 Summary
Our Jiangzhong Brand series composite style stainless steel welding water tanks adopt high quality stainless steel boards to manufactured as single blocks in different specifications (lmXlm，lmXO.5m、0.5mxO.5m), which are then assembled together. This kind of products is designed with relative parameters according to Regulations on Design of Architectural Water & Drain System (GBJI 5688); their various hygienic indexes are also identified by Hygiene and Disease Control Department, which are all in accordance with Hygienic Standard of Living Drinking Water; this series of water tanks are assembled conveniently at site; and they have such advantages as resistance to distortion, high shock resistance, corrosion proof, easy to rinse and long life-span. Material for producing stainless steel water tank accords with the national standard, i.e. Hygienic Standard of Stainless Steel Table Wares & Containers (GB 9684-88). Stainless steel water tank adopts victual stainless steel as its material, which is formed by compression molding on single board, assembled and welded with Nitrogen arc welding process.
Range of Application
Regulation water tank, fire water tank and storage water tank are applied in construction water supply; expansion water tank and coagulation water tank are applied in heating system; and various temporary water tanks are applied in building construction, road works, geological exploration and national defense engineering. The water tanks can stock cooling water as well as hot water, which have resistant against acid, alkali, seeping, leakage, distortion and corrosion.
Current domestic application of water tanks
 At present, most water tanks for civil and industrial use in the country are built by concrete or welded by carbon steel board, thus their weights are heavy; intensities are low; they are lack of endurance; they easily cause pollution; and they are even harmful to people’s health. Taking the living water tank closely related to citizen’s daily life for example, under the present condition, it is impossible to cancel water tanks on rooftop of multi-story building and water storage tank on high-rise building. Deficient pressure of water supply usually occurs in the cities. At present there are usually two ways: one is to adopt frequency control water pump to supply water in a constant pressure, which is expensive, thus it is not often adopted in engineering; the other is inexpensive, that is to use water storage tank on the top of construction, it adopts compression water pump or takes advantage of its pressure of pipe network to supply water to water tank, and then takes advantages of hydraulic pressure of water tank to supply water to customers at vale time for using water. So the function of variation factor of water storage tank when adjustment is a supporting adjustable pool for water supply system. If without it, hydraulic pressure leaving factory must raise to meet customers’ requirements, which will waste a lot of electric power. Take the water tank on rooftop for example, water is usually automatically flooded in with ball cock when water use is not in short supply at night. For example, in Shanghai, there are 17 districts. If there are 5000 water tanks on rooftop in one district, then there are totally 85000 water tanks on rooftop in the 17 districts. If each water tank stocks 7 tons of water, then these 85000 water tanks can stock 595000 tons of water in total. If scale of water supply is 14000000 tons per day, then the 5950000 tons of water nearly possess 5%, i.e. it adjusts 5%. This will save a mass of electric power and save a lot of investment of water conveying pipe network, so water tanks on rooftop is an indispensably important part for water supply and power saving. Water storage tank is a very important part in water supply system in cities of our country. It can plays an important role on adjustment as well as power saving and investment reduction on water conveying pipe network, and it can also relieve pressure to pipe network and improve safety of water supply through pipe network. Thus water storage tank will exist for a long time in a certain area. To improve people’s life quality and ensure hygiene of peoples’ living water use, development of new water tanks has no time to delay.
Product characteristics
 There are some reports on this kind of equipment. Compared with the current water tanks, this kind of ones developed by us has such advantages as cheap but good & hygienic, which is a new environmental protective product. Compared with products of the same kind, it has the following characteristics:
1，Stainless: adopt victual stainless steel with good corrosion resistance, completely interdict sunniness, never breed any algae, never cause the reduction of intensity of trough solid because of algae seen in resin trough and irradiation by ultraviolet radiation。
2、Portability and high intensity: yield strength of stainless steel adopted is 1.5 times higher than routine material and 6 times higher than glass fiber reinforced plastic, which is resistant against shock, snow, wind pressure and impact. Meanwhile, adopt more rational mechanics structure compared with imported equipment, process for compression molding with board 1.5mm~mm with 1/3 ~ 1/4 weight of ordinary steels, which greatly reduce material waste. Unique board type and superior and difficult compression molding technical process make it reach high intensity, portability and resistance to wear with the minimum material consumption.
3、Free choice: it is able to randomly assemble. The capacity of this kind of water tank can be chosen within the wide range from 0.125 m3 to 300Om3 without limit of location because of its special joining property. It can be assembled as moving water tank as well as fixed water tank, which has great flexibility.
4、Cheap but good & hygienic: cost of stainless steel material itself is higher, but rational structure and process make factory cost greatly reduced, and though using quality stainless steel board, its cost is lower than water tank made from ordinary steel; meanwhile original shape and perfect design have luster of stainless steel as a foil. The whole tank is very beautiful, which seems like an artwork, and it is unfailing to supply pure and hygienic water.
5、Never leakage: adopt unique structure and design, completely weld and assemble at sight, which have preeminent intensity. Different from bolt-like structure, it dispenses with sealing strip, but water leakage and unclosed sealing will not occur.。
6、Easy to assemble at sight: adopt pre-coated plate in some certain specification in combination construction for assembly at sight, especially suitable to large sized tank & trough that is uneasy to move and locations that is inconvenient to assemble, for example water tank on rooftop of construction. No need to large assembly equipment and assembly is fast and convenient.
7、Easy for construction insulated against heat: when necessary to prevent frostbite in cold area, its unique shape and design make installation of thermal insulation mosaic-piston convenient for construction.
 8Accord with standards and requirements to fire and building: when fire happens in building, compared with glass fiber reinforced plastic container, stainless steel trough can function as a water supply tank to put out the fire at early times. This is in accordance with the national fire and building laws.
Instruction on ordering
①When ordering, dimension of water tank, location of take-over and diameter of pipe must be afforded.
②To water storage temperature for use, 4-65oC is suitable. If the temperature should be higher than this value, please put forward in advance when ordering, and this is solved separately.
③Load of water tank earthward should be checked and ratified by personnel who design structure.
④If location of take-over on water tank afforded by customer is just at gap of board, our company need to adjust, and diameter of pipe will not change (never notify customer again).
Installation and check
①During assembly, set aside a passage for examination and repair no less than 700mm between tank and wall and put apart a space no less than 500mm at both top and bottom of the tank.
②When land construction, make support pier first and the combination gap between single plates at the bottom of the tank must repose on the support pier.
③After the assembly, close excurrent pipe and overflow pipe, turn on admitting pipe, supplement water and check if tank if full, if water leakage never occurs after 24 hours, then the tank is OK.
