 Applications: |
▲The machine applies to the extraction of herbs, traditional Chinese medicinal materials, animals, food additives, ect, with water, ethanol, methanol and acetone as well as recovery and concentration of organic solvent. |
| Operating Principle: |
▲Put medicinal materials into extraction tank, adding 5 to 8 times solvent as much as water ( such as water, ethanol and acetone according to technical requirements ). Turn on the straight bore and steam valve of jacket, heat the extracting solution to a boil for 20 to 30 minutes, suck one third extracting solution out through the suction tube into thickner. Turn off the straight bore and steam valve of jacket, then turn on the heater valve to condense the liquid charging stock. The secondary steam is created during the process of concentrate, which is sent into extracting thickner through the ascension pipe of evaporator and used as heat source and solution of extraction to maintain a boil in the extracting tank.

The secondary steam continues to rise, turns into hot condensate and falls back into the extracting tank to act as new solvent on the surface of medcine. The new solvent goes to the bottom of extracting tank through the layer of medicinal materials from top to bottom and the soluble active ingredient of medicinal materials dissolves in the solvent, suck the extracting solution out through the suction tube into thickner. The secondary steam is created during the process of concentrate, which is sent into extracting thickner through the ascension pipe of evaporator and used as heat source and solution of extraction, thus the large extracting circulation of new solvent has formed and the solute density of medicinal materials has kept high gradient as well as the solute density in solvent. The solute in the medicinal materials dissolves out at high speed and the extraction has completed. The extracting solution is completely sucked into thickner, the concentrated secondary steam is transferred into cooler, the concentrate goes on till it’s condensed into the ointment with needed proportion （1.2~1.34）and let it out to prepare for use.Extract the residual liquid medicine from the tank and keep it in the store tank for next reuse. The dregs of a decoction is discharged from the cleanout door. If it is extracted with organic solvent, add proper quantities of water and turn on the straight bore and steam valve of jacket. After recovering the solvent, discharge the dregs of a decoction. |
| Equipment Characteristics: |
1.Compared with the multi-functional tank, the extraction rate of ointment increases by 10 to 15 per cent and the active ingredient contained in ointment raises by more than 1 times. Since the hot solvent is added to the surface of medicated fluid continuously and goes to the bottom of extracting tank through the layer of medicinal materials from top to bottom. the solute content of medicinal materials has kept high gradient as well as the solute content in solvent. The solute in the medicinal materials dissolves out at high speed till it dissolves completely, it has a high extraction of active ingredient. The concentrate is completed in a set of sealing devices with little loss, high conversion rate, high extraction rate of ointment and high active ingredient content of ointment.
2.Since the solute in the medicinal materials dissolves out at high speed, the extracting time is short as well as the concentrate and extraction occur at the same time, it only takes 7 or 8 hours from medicinal materials to dense ointment and it has a high equipment capacity factor.
3.It has characteristics of single equipment, small floor area, high equipment capacity factor and economical investment.
4.The extraction only needs to be added solvent once and is recycled in a set of sealing devices. The solvent in the dregs of a decoction is recovered basically. Compared with the Multi-functional extraction tank, the solvent usage reduces over 30 per cent and the consumption rate can be decreased by 50 per cent to 70 per cent, which supplies more advanced technique for extracting and purifying the active ingredient of herbal medicine with organic solvent.
5.Since the concentrated secondary steam is used as heat source of extraction and the temperature of extracting solution extracted into thickener is the same as that of concentrated solution, which saves steam and makes operation more easier and decrease the number of operators.
